Tyson Fury has given Anthony Joshua until 17:00 BST on Monday afternoon to sign a contract for a fight between the two British heavyweights.
Now, the gypsy king declares that Joshua has not met that deadline and thus there will be no war.
Was it all this bravado from Gypsy King who said he will now fight Manuel Charn on December 3rd?
“D-day has come and gone. It’s 5pm on Monday and no contract has been signed,” he said on social media.
“It’s officially over for Joshua. Forget the idiot, the coward, the sh**t, the bodybuilder.”
“You always knew, you always knew you didn’t have the resources to fight the Gypsy King. Good luck with your career, end.”
It was a tall order to get the biggest fight the UK had seen in less than ten days, especially as the various broadcasting platforms involved had to come to an agreement. Fury offered a general agreement that didn’t look bad – 60/40 in his favour.
After AJ’s second loss to Usyk, he knew he wasn’t comfortable and accepted the day his opponent pinned him. Through it all, Gypsy King didn’t comment on whether Bluff smelled or not.
No one has revealed how the negotiations will take place. Fury, in any case, Usyk said about Char that he will no longer enter the ring this year.
