Racey Baby wasn’t himself in the first weekend of the season – he wasn’t fully fit, as it was later revealed – but in this second weekend he put in an impressive performance, starting and finishing the game defensively. Wing-back, continuing to be important. His performance really should have been rewarded with at least one assist when he scored a field goal for Kai Havertz. Alas…
Via @OptaJoe “Reyes James has been directly involved in 15 goals in 28 games for Chelsea since the start of last season in the Premier League (6 goals, 9 assists), more than any other defender.” https://t.co/TBYt5ydsdj

Also, the best holiday.
As far as Stamford Bridge debuts go, it doesn’t get much better than Koulibaly’s debut – unless, of course, it’s the result itself. Best from K2 so far!
I felt amazing scoring her second goal at Stamford Bridge, it was beautiful. I didn’t expect it but I’m very happy to do it in front of our fans. It was an amazing atmosphere and I was very happy when everyone shouted my name and I hope it won’t be the last time, I want to feel this next time.

Cucurella seems custom-made for this team, and it seems like he’s already been here forever. It was a big investment to get him this summer, but so far, it also looks like a wise investment.
