Titans, a new Swiss esports association, has signed a global CS:GO roster project previously known as GORILLAZ.
The Titans roster consists of Miika “Sunny” Kempi, Tomasz “Oscar” Shastastny, Matias “MSL” Lauridsen, Anton “Supra” Teshernobai, and Magnus “Nodios” Olsen. The team will be coached by Sergey “lmbt” Bezhanov, who previously coached both Oscar and Sunny under the MouthSports banner from 2017 to 2019.
The team has been practicing and preparing together for several months, and the players are now ready to qualify for international tournaments and establish themselves as a top-level CS:GO team, announced today’s Titans press release. The team is currently setting up camp before events resume at the end of this player break.
The company will “first focus exclusively on CS:GO” but plans to introduce “other export titles” while maintaining its “base of operations in Switzerland.” Allen Shola, former head of esports at CR4ZY, serves as esports manager at Titans.
This roster has competed over the past few months under the name GORILLAZ, a label originally started by Suni, fellow former ENCE player Jere “Sergej” Salo, and Swedish legend Robin “Flusha” Ronquist. Except for Sunny, all the original members of GORILLAZ who joined in 2021 broke up before the end of the year. All players signed with Suni to TITANS this year alone. The most recent member, Supra, was acquired from Nordavind last May.
MSL will take a leading role in the game, having previously led teams against Diginitas, North, Rogue and Optik over the years. Sunny can play entry rifle while Oscar mainly takes AWP.
