After the regular Fortnite maintenance, Epic Games has shared the latest update list v21.51. As Epic is bringing back Fire from Fire Week from September 7th to 13th, some of the best weapons are making a comeback, like the Master Flame Arrows and Dragon Breath Shotgun. With Fire Week to fully breathe fire, Firefly Jars and Chug Cannon can now be found on the ground more often. Although incredibly fun, Fire doesn’t feature in competitive playlists with Fire Week.
In other news, Epic is making drastic changes to purchases, cancellations, and social settings in the v21.51 update. Thankfully, you now have to hold a key to complete a purchase, and you can cancel in-game cosmetic purchases until you equip them or 24 hours have passed. In addition, you can now save payment information.
When it comes to voice messages, Epic now lets you freely choose if you want to voice chat with “Everyone,” “Friends and Teammates,” “Only Friends,” or “Anyone,” with an option for parents to restrict these settings. Additionally, parental controls have been moved into the main menu.
And finally, Epic introduced new methods to punish toxic behavior. Now, players can be blocked from using voice chat or adding new friends, for example.
In conclusion, v21.51 doesn’t bring any game-changing content or fresh skins to keep us entertained for the next couple of weeks. So we sit patiently and wait for the next update.
