With the 38-year-old’s contract expiring, there has been a lot of talk about Andre Iguodala’s future with the Golden State Warriors. Iggy himself is well aware of all the “chat” around him, so he decided to address the issue in a recent episode of the Point Forward podcast with Evan Turner.
Iguodala goes all LeBron James in an announcement about his future.
“I’ve heard some conversations lately about resolutions and nature issues,” he said. This will be the house of ‘the decision’. … I’ll make it from this (at) point forward whether I’m taking my talent back to the Warriors or taking my talent elsewhere or taking Black home.
.@Andre has been “listening to the chat” lately, so wanted to share some info. #NBATwitter

You can see it there. It’s official. Andre Iguodala will make his official announcement soon via podcast. Unfortunately, he didn’t give us much other than to acknowledge the fact that he might actually retire.
Iguodala finished his second season with the Warriors and won his fourth NBA championship. He’s not the star he once was, but it’s hard to deny that the former Finals MVP is still an integral part of Golden State.
If he decides to hang it up, though, Iguodala will walk away from an impressive NBA career that included an All-Star appearance and two other All-Defensive nods.
Andre Iguodala is undeniably going down in history as one of the greatest Warriors of all time.
