SPOKANE, Wash. – Whitworth University is set to partner with Hilinky’s Hope (H3H) during College Football Mental Health Week, Oct. 1-8.
H3H is a foundation started by Kem and Mark Hilinski for their son Tyler, a former Washington State University quarterback who died by suicide. H3H’s website says their goal is to “help colleges and universities save lives, eliminate stigma, and scale student-athlete mental health programs.”
Whitworth University participates in activities throughout the week. Athletes wore their Green 3 hats during games to honor Tyler, those struggling with mental health and those who have lost their lives.
115+ schools participate in College Football Mental Health Week, including Washington State University. Click here for information on which universities are participating.
